Charge Ports
We offer charge port replacements for all iPad Models. We carry replacement ports for most iPad Models in stock. In addition, we offer USB C and DC inboard replacements for all MacBook models. The MacBook ports are ordered as needed and not carried in stock at this time.
Audio IC Failure
Audio IC failure is common in iPhone 7/7+ but can occur in a variety of models. If you are experiencing poor audio during phone calls, crackling as well as breaking up, no speaker option during phone calls, or voice memos app failure your device may have audio IC failure.
The repair involes removing the audio IC from the motherboard. Once remove then add 1 jumper wire to pad C-12 which is responsible for the issue, this wire will reconnect the pad and also strengthen the connection to prevent reoccurrence of the discrepancy. We run 3 additional jumper wires on pads that are prone to the same failure as C12. Another additional step is to replace the audio IC that was removed.
Short Detection and Repair
From our experience shorts are one of the main reasons an iPhone or many other electronic devices just all of a sudden stops working. Shorts are caused by different conditions but here are some common causes when talking about consumer electronics: Liquid getting inside a device, dropping the device on a hard surface or a random component failure. A byproduct of an electrical short is heat and this is how we find shorts on a logic board. We apply the proper amount of power for the circuit being tested and use a Seek Compact Pro Thermal camera to find the source of a short. Once found we can replace the shorted component and get the device up and running again in the shortest time possible.
No Touch/Touch Disease
This has become a common problem on the iPhone X, XS, XS Max, 11, and 11 Pro Max. After a drop the phone will boot and show image but will not register touch on any part of the display. This happens due to a pad loosing contact in between the top and bottom boards. This repair is straight forward. It requires us to split the top board from the bottom, re ball the split and then solder the halves back together.
