The Joys of Data Recovery
The iPhone 7+ pictured above was dropped in water and the top portioned was broken completely off! One of the most enjoyable parts of doing this job is recovering someones most important memories! Their photos and videos that can not be replaced are trapped on a phone with no way to retrieve them other than making the phone work once again. With iPhones there is no other way to retrieve data from a damaged device outside of booting it up and hooking the phone up to iTunes to make a back up. With some other manufacturers you can do what is called a “chip off” recovery where the chip that holds the data can be removed, hooked up to a machine and then the data can be transferred to a computer.

Nintendo Switch Charge Port Repair
Have a Nintendo Switch that will not charge due a damaged or faulty charge port? No Problem! This process involves removing the old port and solder, tinning the rear pads, and installing a new port. We have found a technique to install these sometimes pesky ports that ensures a strong and solid connection on the back pins pictured below. These pins are not accessible with the port on top which makes it difficult to ensure that strong connection. Don’t take a risk with any of your devices, get the to the company with the correct tools and knowledge to do the job correctly!
Cure For Audio Disease
If you are seeing the above symptoms on your iPhone 7 or 7+ then it has what we call “audio disease”. It will also cause the phone to take up to 10 minutes to boot up! The source of this problem is a manufacturing defect which allows a key solder pad underneath the audio IC (pictured top right) to loose connection. The good news is this condition is very repairable and once it is repaired you will not have anymore issues! We replace the audio IC and repair the separation with a tiny wire which re establishes the connection returning your phone to normal again! While the IC is removed we strengthen other connections that have been known to give similar issues.
